Welcome to Ziggy!

We’re excited to share Ziggy with you and your family. Right now, the app only includes the core functionality of Chores and Rewards, but over the next few weeks we’ll keep improving it until it becomes an app you love 😍.

Here’s what to expect during this testing phase that we call Wave 1:

Timeline

Wave 1 will run for 8 weeks, split into two parts to respect the holiday break:

Part 1: November 10th to December 5th

Part 2: January 12th to February 6th

What to expect each week

Week 1: Ramp-up. This is the week to tackle onboarding, setup, and bug fixes.

Week 2: Polish. We’ll focus on improvements to the existing features based on your early use.

Weeks 3-8: New weekly features! Every Monday, we’ll release the most requested feature from the previous week.

Feedback and check-ins

You can reach us anytime via WhatsApp for questions, issues, or ideas. We’ll also schedule three super-quick 10-minute check-ins with each family:

Weeks 2-3: First call (initial impressions)

Weeks 5-6: Second call (what’s missing/what to improve)

Weeks 7-8: Third and last call (one-month experience and next steps)

No prep needed! Just your real experience.

Getting the app

You’re ready to install Ziggy on your iOS or Android device. We will use the official testing platforms provided by Apple and Google.

Please follow the steps below on each device where you plan to use the app.

Important: When asked to allow notifications, please choose Allow. Notifications are a key part of Ziggy and your feedback on them is valuable. You can always turn them off once testing is complete.

iOS

  1. Follow the steps here: http://ios.ziggychores.com.

Android

  1. Open https://google.ziggychores.com and join the Google group (you don’t need to link your account).

  2. Install the app from https://android.ziggychores.com.

Amazon Fire

  1. Please send us a message on WhatsApp and we’ll walk you through the steps.
